How are corporate communications teams leveraging technology and infrastructure to assist in their return to office (RTO) strategies? Industry experts will address this question during the general session “The ROI of RTO: Maximizing Employee Engagement During Return to Office,” at the second annual Silicon Valley Video Summit (SVVS), Jan. 23.

The panel will also explore topics that include what techniques and tools are being used to get employees back to their workplaces and how corporate meetings have been changing with so many staffers still working remotely.

The conversation will be moderated by Dave Van Hoy, Advanced Systems Group (ASG) president.  RTO is a major topic across all of ASG’s Silicon Valley clients as managers wonder how to get their staffs to again use the facilities that their companies have invested in, according to Van Hoy.

The panel will include Wes Choy, Netflix N-Tech global manager, A/V builds;
Andrew Cross, industry technologist and inventor of NDI; and Matt Morgan, Ross Video, business development manager, corporate.

At Netflix, Choy heads a distributed team of engineers that design and deploy collaboration media systems. He is known for designing and implementing scalable media technology programs for a few of the world’s largest companies.

Cross has pioneered the use of IP video for the industry and created NDI, which was quickly adopted as the de facto standard for IP video transmission. In the past, Cross had served as engineering manager and CEO of NewTek.

Morgan is the business development manager for the corporate market at Ross Video, where he helps customers find solutions enabling them to host live events with broadcast-quality, reliable technology.  Before joining Ross, Morgan was the head broadcast engineer at Life Church, managing a 4K facility that broadcast to more than 40 campuses across 12 U.S. states and to viewers around the world.
